Mangaluru, Jul 8: Union minister D V Sadananda Gowda on Sunday, July 7, said that the present coalition government in Karnataka will last only for a few days following internal fight.
Speaking to media persons, Gowda said, "Leaders are fighting for key positions in the government. The government which came to power by joining hands just to keep the BJP away from forming the government will not last long. Due to rift between the Congress and the JD(S), the government is yet to start functioning."
"The government needs to call a meeting between the government officials and people's representatives before the onset of monsoon. They are also supposed to allocate Rs 5 to 10 crore for this purpose. But the present government is not bothered about people's plight. It has a negligent attitude towards people's issues. So this government is going to drown soon," he criticized.
He further said, "The third front formed to defeat Prime Minister Modi is just a dream. The front is like a torn cloth and it will not help them to come to power."
