Mangaluru, Jul 12: A married woman from Bengre here took valuables and cash and went missing. A case stands registered at Panambur police station in this regard.
Ummi Salma(28), wife of Faroodi Moideen , a resident of Bengre Kasaba is the woman who escaped with gold and Rs 25,000 cash.
On July 7, Faroodi had left for work in the morning. At around 4 pm, he received a call from his wife and she told him that she was going to Bengaluru. She also asked him not to search for her. Immediately, Faroodi returned and found the house locked. He also phoned his relatives and also searched for her in bus stations and railway station.
When he could not trace her, he filed a complaint at Panambur police station.
On July 9, Faroodi received a call from his wife and she told him that she got married to someone else. She told him that she would send Rs 1000 every month to him. Since then she has switched her phone off.
Ummi is 5 ft tall, fair complexion, round face and speaks Kannada, Hindi, English, Urdu and Beary languages. If there is any information about her whereabouts, Panambur police can be informed.
