Chikkamagaluru, Jul 13: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje on Friday, July 13 slammed chief minister H D Kumaraswamy for his stand on waiving of farm loans.
Speaking to reporters, the MP said, “The budget presented by chief minister Kumaraswamy is of falsehood. The information of farmers’ loan waiving is not clear. He has told lies to people.”
“Chief Minister, when will you be waiving the loans? Do not cheat people,” she said.
Responding to media’s query on her role in BJP she said, “I will shoulder any responsibility that BJP entrusts me. I am prepared even to do only party work.”
The MP further said that she will fulfil any responsibility on national or state level. “If I am asked not to contest Lok Sabha elections, I will not contest them. I will contest only if asked. I am prepared to perform mere party work if asked by the party leadership,” she said.
