Dubai Karnataka Sangha to Celebrate Rajyotsava on Nov 6

Dubai, Oct 27: Karnataka Sangha Dubai will be celebrating 'Karnataka Rajyotsava 2008' on Thursday November 6 at Indian Consulate Hall here at 7.30 pm.

Renowned educationist and director of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore Dr K P Puthuraya will be the chief guest on the occasion.

The Karnataka Sangha, Dubai is socio-cultural, non-political and non-religious organization founded in the year 1985 to promote Karnataka’s rich and diverse heritage and culture, art and literature. Since the beginning the Sangha has provided excellent forum for amateur talent, and invited professional artists from India, encouraged sports and games and represented Karnataka in various programmes held in the Emirates.

Karnataka Sangha, Dubai is the recipient of 'Suvarna Rajyotsava Award given on the ocasion of 50th anniversary of Karnataka in the year 2007.

The Sangha is planning to organize children's photo competition, Eid-Diwali-Christmas get-together, blood donation camp, sports festival, programme for women and children, mega star musical nite, talent show and annual day celebrations in the coming days.
