Mumbai, Oct 5: Bhavani Foundation held its third annual meeting and get-together at Bantara Swamy Mukthananda auditorium, Kurla east on Wednesday evening October 3. Founder president of the foundation K D Shetty presided over the meeting.

Foundation trustee members Saritha Kusumodar Shetty, vice president Jeekshith Kusumodar Shetty, managing committee members advocate B Moidin Mundkooru, Dharmapal U Devadiga, Pandith Navinchandra R Sanil, Chelladka Radhakrishna D Shetty, Chelladka Prakash D Shetty and other elite were on the dais. Bunts justice committee honorary president M D Shetty and global Bunts federation president Aikala Harish Shetty lit the lamp and set the meeting in motion.

Hotelier Subbayya V Shetty, Jaya C Suvarna, Aims first grade college member trustee, president Fauziya B S, well known doctor Dr Vijaya B Shetty, Bhavani Foundation managing committee member Rons Bantwal, Premanath B Shetty Mundkoor, Gopalakrishna Kunder Bajpe, Shashikant Thakre, Parashuram Pundalik Tassode were felicitated on the occasion.

The programme was set in motion by remembering and paying homage to late Chelladka Deranna Shetty and Bhavani D Shetty. Hemalatha Shetty sang a prayer song. Vice president Jeekshit Kusumodar Shetty welcomed the gathering, gave an introductory address and gave details of Bhavani group and foundation. Moidin Mundkoor and Dharmapal Devadiga gave details of immense service and dedication of the foundation.

Foundation honorary chief secretary Seema Pavar, read the report of the previous year's meeting. Joint treasurer Chaithali Poojary presented the accounts. Panil Hivale introduced the felicitees. K D Shetty and trustees felicitated the special invitees. Karnur Mohan Rai compered the programme. Ashok Pakkala introduced the guests and proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded after the National Anthem.
