Udupi: Let centre issue an ordinance for Ram Mandir – Pejawar Swamiji

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (EP)

Udupi, Oct 30: “An early court judgement for construction of Ram Mandir is not possible. Therefore, the central government should issue an ordinance on it,” senior seer of Pejawar Math, Shri Vishweshateertha Swamiji.

“The Supreme Court has adjourned an appeal in this connection to January. Therefore, the union government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi should issue an ordinance and get its approval from both the Houses. It is also the opinion of all the swamijis,” he said.

“A delegation has met President Ramnath Kovind. I too will join the delegation if it meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.

Reacting to the questions by reporters regarding Shabarimale controversy, he said that he is neutral. “The Supreme Court has issued the judgement on one side. On the other side, there is friction between people’s opinion and tradition. My personal opinion is that, women should be allowed inside Shabarimale temple. They are allowed in other temples also. Therefore, the temple administration should take a decision. I will not speak about it,” he said.

    @Ramzan,

    What if I say that I want to offer prayers in your place after demolishing your house forcefully. Would you agree, even if I say that I would build other house for you better than the current one.

    @Ramzan,

    Let it be proved by the court. Why are you in a hurry. Do you have any proof so that you are offering the Masjid? There are people (not Mulslims) who have claimed that the idols were planted inside the Masjid to prove that it was a Mandir.

    @Ramzan,

    Wa Alaikum salaam Wa Rahmathullahi Wa Barakaathuhu my brother. Hope you are doing good in Munmbai.
    If any Masjid is built by unlawfully grabbing the land, then it is the duty of a Muslim to destroy that mosque and hand over the property to the owner. Because Allah is always "Just" and he likes "Justful" action only.
    But it has to be proved that the land belongs to so and so. Otherwise even I can claim that white house is my properly.

    It is a pity that in a Hindu majority country, Hindus have to wait for supreme court order to 'Rebuild' a temple of Lord Shrirama in his own birth place.
    With an ordinance or without, with Supreme court order or without, Sri Ram temple will be built in Ayodhya, in the same site.

    Why Ordinance ? Supreme Court should show little spine and decide the case. Its purely a property dispute between 3 parties and religion has nothing to do with it.

    We all must construct Ram Mandir Every home must a Ram Mandir. No politician, pontiff tell this. Church- Mosque-Temple have value if devotee must convince himself peaceful. Then only he can recognise supreme power.
    Hope SC may give a verdict of good END.

    Let centre issue an ordinance to re-build Babri Masjid at the same location which it stood before it's demolition and funish the people who demolished the Babri Masjid without court order or order from the Government. May Rama & Krishna live in our hearts forever.

    Why should an ordinance be issued? Why these people do not respect the judiciary? Moreover, there is no archaeological proof that there was a temple at the site. Misadventures in the name of religious beliefs will be disastrous for the country.

    We are not sure whether god is existed. It is a hope that God is there. Same thing about temple or masjid. Time to build both side by side and possible add church gurdwara and buddiSt temple and Jewish worship place. Let's everyone pray together without issues in that sacred place. People fight including religious leaders without any respect for god. It is a shame and insult for god.

    @ Roshan,

    Who are we to question others belief. Its Just a belief..

    Hindus have their belief and its proved by Archaeological dept that temple existed in this place and was demolished by invaders.

    Muslims have Mecca , Christians have vatican like wise let Hindus have Ayodhya.
    Hope supreme court does it for once and all.

    Elections must be really close. Every BJP man and his saffron army are talking about Ram mandir now.

    Four and half years at the center; 19 CM’s of NDA, and yet Ram mandir is their ticket for winning the next election? Speaks volume about the real success of this NDA government.

    Not sure whether I should laugh or cry. At the fag end of the second decade of the 21st century, the leadership of our country is seeking re-election by pressing the religious sentiment button, rather than any meaningful socio-economic development agenda; and the sad part is that these matters do swing the votes.

    Oh lord, for how long will this rubbish of caste, religion & god continue to dominate our public arena?

    It will be in centre's best interest not to venture into this misadventure and if it does then it will end up in big embarassement to them and will be back to square one. By this BJP will expose its incompetence and face brick bats from all devotees.
