For Udupi BJP MLA Raghupati Bhat, good governance means 'Bandh'. For sitting MP Shobha Kardlanje good governance means uploading fake stories and photoshop pictures from Postcard.com.

Is Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat wanted to be next Reddy's of Karnataka?

MLA sahab, please do something constructive which will benefit the society at large than calling these nonsensical, unproductive bhandhs every now and then damaging the economic activity and life of common people. First stop all illegal mining of sand which has already done the irreversible damage to the ecosystem and environment in the twin districts. Please try to get the Udupi district roads repaired first before calling your bandh.

    People,

Like Sardar Patel's statue in Gujarat, we need to install Raghupati Bhat's (Sand) statue in frot of Udupi DC office...so future generation will know about his 'Sand Satyagraha' ...in line with Gandhiji's 'Salt Satyagraha'...

I would even go further and say...Raghupati is modern day Gandhiji of Udupi...

    ...Tak...Takk...

Why bhatta losing hair on this issue?

First let the poor get sand to construct houses and after that your rich builder friends and yourself can use remaining sand for your building projects.

Why you are not filing a case in court of law and quickly settle this matter instead of dragging and causing inconvenience to people. You know very well that court will not entertain your plea and no law will help you in this issue that is why all this public display by you as next option and fool people.

Manual sand mining should be allowed for local consumption..
All the ideas like crz, non-cnz and ecologically sensitive zones etc etc are baseless... Sand can be extracted wherever available and used for local purpose...

Elderji those days are long gone, just like all the sand. Now if we remove what little is left there won't be any water as sand is essential for absorbing water for the groundwater.

    Many theories doesn't work practical...
Crackers produce pollution but motor vehicles produce much more pollution throughout the world.. On the other hand natural large volcanic eruption can produce much more pollution than anything else..
Sand accumulation happens every year and it can be meaningfully used...
