Udupi, Nov 2: Three persons were detained by railway police after they were found with approximately Rs 1.65 crore unaccounted money with them in a train.

As per details available, three persons of Rajasthan origin were travelling in air-conditioned bogie of Netravathi Express moving from Mumbai to Kerala at 4.30 am by the railway police. As the police found these persons suspicious, they searched the luggage they were carrying. A cash of around Rs 1.65 crore was in their possession for which they did not have any records. They said that they were going to buy a property.

Railway police in coordination with Manipal police are investigating the case.

    Looking at the duo in the photo, what aroused suspicion? Railway police knew where to look for.
    They came all the way from Mumbai and Railway police got lucky in Udupi after an overnight journey.
    It could be hawala money destined for distribution in Kerala of people avoiding banking channel for India bound money transfers. The follow-up investigation will never be revealed as a deal will be struck very soon.

    Raul yeshwer kerala ,otherwise you have no other problem.Money is needed everywhere and everyone and everything.Kerala is in need of money now .This period they make use and do a lot of black money to bringout or do business with black money.I really doubt if this collected money goes to the needy or other canal.Good they caught it.Now punish the big boss for illegal activity.

    These sort of things might be happening much more frequently. It's only to take revenge that someone brought it to the notice of the police. Otherwise if police check trains randomly, they'll be cracking the biggest black money racket in the country.
