Dharwad, Jan 6: Former CM B S Yeddyurappa fumed that the coaltion government of Congress and JD (S) is conducting Tughlaq Durbar in the state, which is full of corruption.

Yeddyurappa, who arrived to partake in the All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelana that is being held in the district, spoke to the scribes and said, "Chief minister Kumaraswamy has not followed what he has preached. In every matter he creates confusion. The people of the state are facing difficulty due to drought in most of the districts. During this time the CM has increased the price of diesel and petrol. Will it not add to the misery of the public? The CM increases the tax like this and gives the lame excuse of loan waiver."

"Today a bag containing Rs 76 lac is found in the department of a minister. Instead of taking immediate action, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao gives some other answer. Corruption is rampant in the government. The development is totally stagnant. This is a kind of Tughlaq durbar, which I condemn. People are migrating to other places as there is no job due to drought. The government has not done anything in this regard like releasing of compensation," ridiculed Yeddyurappa.

B S Yeddyurappa further said, "The conference is being conducted in a grand manner in the city. I have been invited, hence I have come. I congratulate the media for giving the support for the conference from the past three days."

When asked about his reaction on the IT raid on the Sandalwood star actors, Yeddyurappa said, "The tax officials do whatever seems suitable to them. It is not right to bring central government in this regard. Investigation is on in this matter. None of the actors have opposed the raid. They are cooperating with the officials. I will not speak much on this subject."
