Mangaluru, Jan 7: Sangeet Tsunami – 2’, the 205th episode of the 'Moinyali Manchi', monthly theatre programme, organized by Mandd Sobhann was held at Kalangann open auditorium in city on Sunday, January 6.
A tribute was offered to social leader late Pascal Pinto, who died recently and who strived to spread the fragrance of Konkani language in the gulf nation of Kuwait. Senior stage artiste Francis Fernandes Cascia, NRI entrepreneur Joseph Mathias, Founder of Daijiworld Media Group, Walter Nandalike, Gurkhar of Mandd Sobhann Eric Ozario, president Luvi Pinto, organizer Stany Alvares and secretary Kishore Fernandes paid rich homage to the departed soul.
Joseph Mathias started the programme by ringing the copper bell.
Singer Rony Crasta and team enthralled the audience with melodious songs. Eric Ozario, Babita, Joshal, Reena, Alwyn, Angeline, Velita, Steevan, Shilpa, Sharan, Lorna, Leslie and child singer Rishal Melba entertained the audience through various Konkani numbers.
Rajesh, Rajendra Moily, Sanjay Rodrigues, Jerome and Reuben rendered the music.
The comedy of Dosti Artistes Fermai and dance by Hensil Fermai and troupe added glamour to the programme.
The programme was compered by Roshan Crasta, Avil Nainad and Silvester Fermai.
