Udupi, Jan 11: "The information of hatching a plot to kill Hindu leaders like Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, Sharan Pumpwell and Jagadish Shenava is really disturbing. State government has to provide additional security to Hindu leaders," said BJP leader Yashpal Suvarna.

Yashpal Suvarna warned further and said, "Certain anti-socials have joined hands with foreign elements to repress nationalistic, pro-Hindu organizations. Hindu community has the ability to confront such people. Hindu community of coastal Karnataka is ready to give fitting answer, if any issue is faced by the Hindu leaders."

"As the elections are nearing, certain political parties are trying to mobilize the votes of certain community. In the past also, during the election time, attempts were made on the life of Hindu leaders in order to create communal clashes. State government has to take to task people who are trying to disturb peace and create tension in the society," added Yashpal.
