Bengaluru: BJP is day dreaming, says Mallikarjun Kharge

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Jan 13: "BJP is daydreaming by saying that they will do revolution after Makara Sankranthi festival," ridiculed Mallikarjun Kharge, leader of Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in Lok Sabha.

Speaking to the scribes, Kharge said, "Will the 18 MLAs resign and go? Is this possible? There will not be any revolution. There will be minor issues in any party. Similarly, there will be issues in the coalition government. Those issues will be resolved by mutual discussions."

"The alliance between SP and BSP in the state of Uttar Pradesh, keeping aside Congress party, is their wish and will. However, at the national level, opposition parties are united against BJP. Our motto is that all the parties which have the same ideology should work together. Still time is there. Parties with secular ideals will try to flock together. We have to consider that different parties have different strongholds in every state," added Kharge.

Kharge also said that AICC president Rahul Gandhi will contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections from the constituency of Amethi in Uttar pradesh itself.
