Mangaluru, Jan 24: Additional deputy commissioner and district magistrate of Dakshina Kannada district, Dr Kumar has been selected for state level award of additional election officer for having performing excellent election duties during Karnataka Vidhan Sabha elections in 2018.

The award will be presented to him by Karnataka state governor in Bengaluru on January 25.
