Udupi: Children should develop the attitude of fighting against evil forces, says justice C M Joshi

Udupi, Jan 25: "In addition to following the childish acts of Lord Krishna, children should also develop the attitude of fighting against evil forces like Krishna fought against the evil Kamsa," said justice C M Joshi, district and session judge and president of district law services authority.

Justice Joshi was speaking after inaugurating 'Sandighda', film festival against the child marriage at Alankaar film theatre in the city on Thursday, January 24, organized under the joint auspices of Karnataka state commission for protection of children's rights, the district administration, zilla panchayat of the district, district law service authority , department of women and child welfare, departement of public instruction and district children protection unit.



Justic Joshi further said, "Along with the games of childhood, children should develop the attitude of fighting against the social evils like child marriage, child labour and blind beliefs. They should develop of the strength like Krishna who fought against a demon like Kamsa in his childhood."

Deputy commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis presided over the function. Director and actor of 'Sandighda' movie, Suchendra Prasad, actor Mahesh Devru, child actors Sanjana, Kiran, Nishant, Jagadish Kudva, owner of Alaankar theatre, Uma, zonal education officer of the district, Shobha, project officer of child development and Prabhakar Achar, legal inspector of district children protection unit were present.
