The people commonly come across officials, even in relatively minor positions, riding a car. However, Lingsugur MLA, D S Hoolageri, moved around the town in his two-wheeler and lent an ear to people's problems. He checked position of drinking water supply, condition of roads, drains etc, spoke to people, got details of problems faced by them, and promised to address them.

As the MLA parked his car aside and used two-wheeler, the officials also followed him in bikes and scooters.
