Udupi: Organizing backward classes is need of the hour, says Puttaswamy

Udupi, Jan 29: "After I have assumed the position of president I am successfully managing the backward classes morcha of BJP. The conference that was held during the last elections was a great success in which three lac people participated. We have done this to strengthen the party. Protecting the country is the main aim. Regional leaders do not have any priniple nor vision for the country," ridiculed B J Puttaswamy, president of state BJP backward classes morcha.

Puttaswamy was speaking at the press conference that was organized at Diana Hotel in the city on Monday, January 28.

Puttaswamy further said, "The opposition parties are scared that they will get washed away in politics if Modi becomes the prime minister once again. So plot is being hatched. The people of this country will not agree for this. So the opposition parties are hell bent on defeating Modi."

"Now there is a Chowkidar, who guards the nation. We have the strength to defend out nation in the world. There is a leader who will develop the country economically. Modi is doing the job of elevating the financial stability of the country to the highest level in the whole world," added Puttaswamy.

Continuing his address, Puttaswamy said, "2,46,000 bogus small industries are stopped from functioning by Modi. He has put brake on wastage of money in the name of mining. Modi has reserved some portion of mining for the young generation of the future. From mining an income of Rs 3,84,000 crores is amassed."

Somashekhar of BJP, Kiran Kumar, state vice-president, Dinesh Ermal, Arun Bhandary, Shashidhar, Ganesh Pitrodi, Naveen Bhandary and other leaders of BJP were present.
