Udupi, Jan 29: Opposition leader Kota Srinivas Poojary reacting to the statement by chief minister H D Kumaraswamy that he is prepared to resign, said on Monday, January 28 that Congress people themselves are saying that their chief minister is Siddaramaiah. “It amounts to admitting that H D Kumaraswamy is not the chief minister of Karnataka. The chief minister has said that he is willing to give up the chair after understanding the background.”

“On the whole it is clear that Congress activists have not accepted HDK as their chief minister. It appears that Kumaraswamy has not succeeded in obtaining full support from Congress. There is no administration in the state.

“There should have been meetings conducive for tabling the budget, response to the speech of the governor and planning. Instead of that the chief minister is speaking about getting down from his seat. It may be a warning for Congress or that Congress people do not accept him as the chief minister.”

“The entire government is insecure. More details are not required for lack of order in the government. It appears with it that the government is not in a position to work for long and will not continue. The government itself will be responsible for it,” he said.
