Mumbai, Jan 29: Members of Karnataka Sangha, Asalfa celebrated Republic Day at Kannada Vidya Bhavan, on NSS road here.

Vice president of the Sangha, Jayarama G Rai hoisted the flag in the morning.

School teachers Gururaj and Jayarama Rai presented certificates and congratulated the winners of interschool sports competitions held by the corporation.

Several old students took part and showed their love for Kannada.

Sadananda Safaliga compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.

The programme concluded after distribution of sweets and the National Anthem.
