Karkala, Jan 30: "Voting is not only a political right in democracy, but also a sacred duty. Voting is our priceless right. Without becoming victim to any sort of enticement and losing self-respect, make time in between work and vote without fail and exercise your right," said Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary, convener of Abbanadka Sri Durgaparameshwari Friends Club (R) in the 'Voting Awareness Programme' that was organized at the auditorium of the club.
Sandeep also administered the oath to the members of the club.
The programme was presided over by Rajesh Kotian, president of the club. Abbanadka Satish Poojary, president of Abbanadka Sarvajanika Sri Ganeshotsava Samiti, Abbanadka Hariprasad Acharya, treasurer, Sandhya Shetty, women secretary and members of the club Lalita Acharya, Leela Poojary, Pushpa Kulal and Arathi Kumari were present.
