Udupi, Feb 1: Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Kaup taluk unit has been protesting indefinitely for the last several days in Padubidri opposing unscientific work by Navyug Company and alleged double standards in collection of toll.

District in charge minister Dr Jayamala had visited the venue of protests and received an appeal from the protesters.

Udupi district vice president of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, Asif got his head shaved in protest on Thursday, January 31 condemning that positive response was not forthcoming and against neglecting the protesters.



Karnataka Rakshana Vedike president Anwar Ahmed was present.
