Karkala: Youth vendor from Uppinangady dies in Attur feast fair

Karkala, Feb 2: In a tragic incident that occurred on the early morning of Friday February 1, near St Lawrence church of Attur, a youth who was doing business in the fair attached to the annual feast of the church, collapsed and died of heart attack.

The deceased is identified as Abdul Latif (36), a resident of Gandhi park Kotehitlu of Uppinangady in Puttur taluk. Abdul was earlier an autorickshaw driver and was recently into some other business. He had come to Attur church feast fair along with his elder brother on business. He suddenly collapsed at around 3.30 am on Friday early morning and died on the spot. He is survived by his wife and two young children.

Abdul Latif, president of Uppinangady Netravati autorickshaw driver and owners' association, Faruk Zindagi, vice-president and others went to Karkala and coordinated in bringing the body of the deceased to Uppinangady.

    Very sad.was young and noone thinks of such tragody at that time.May be he was so tired and had hardly rest during the feast time.May his soul rest in peace,heartfelt sympathy to his family.Sometimes people neglect their problems and health,because they are young.
