Karkala: Injured in fight between private, KSRTC bus staff admitted to hospital

Karkala, Feb 2: In a bizarre incident that occurred at the city bus stand here on Friday February 1, personnel of private and KSRTC buses entered into a heated argument, which turned into fist fight and got admitted into taluk government hospital.

The KSRTC staff filed a complaint at the town police station accusing the private bus driver and conductor of assaulting and threatening Siddappa Nadakoshi (30), a native of Bagalkot and the conductor of the government bus.

Harish Poojary (37), a resident of Nellikar filed a counter complaint against Siddappa and Allah Baksh, conductor and driver of KSRTC bus respectively of assault and threat on life.
