Kundapur: Health centre inaugurated at Hattiangadi

Kundapur, Feb 5: A health centre was inaugurated by Udupi District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Udupi, District Health and Family Welfare Department and Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Engineering unit on Monday, January 4.

Udupi district-in-charge minister Dr Jayamala who inaugurated the building said that making the fifteen years old dream of residents a reality has brought them immense joy. “I will work sincerely for the all round progress of the rural areas in the days to come. The government has presented a well equipped hospital to the people. It is an amazing service to pregnant women, children and other women. The government has special regards to the doctors who work in remote areas” she said.



“The new health centre should start functioning for villagers. A 108 ambulance should be provided to improve health of people in villages,” said Byndoor MLA B M Sukumar Shetty.

Zilla panchayat member Babu Hegde, zilla panchayat member Jyothi M, zilla panchayat member Shanker Poojary, Hattiangadi gram panchayat president Rajiv Shetty, taluk panchayat member Karan Poojary Tallur, district health officer Dr M Rohini, taluk health officer Dr Nagabhooshan Udupa, district health and family welfare officer and doctors were present.
