Udupi, Feb 5: Akshay (19), son of Raghuram Shetty, resident of Shettigarabettu in Gundmi village near Sastan hanged himself in a room of his home on Monday February 4.
Akkshay, who had completed ITI training, was working in a car wash garage at Tallur village near Kundapur since the last two years.
Akshay had gone to bed at around 10 am on Sunday. On Monday morning, he did not wake up, and even after repeated attempts to wake him up including shouting, did not open the room door. His parents then decided to break the door open, and found that their son had hanged himself.
In a complaint filed in Kota police station, parents said that Akshay decided to end his life as he was frustrated at not being able to bag a job which befitted his educational qualification.
