Puttur, Feb 5: Dinesh (30), who was riding a motor bike, lost his life on the spot after his vehicle collided with a pickup van at Kuntoor on Uppinangady - Subrahmanya state highway.
Dinesh was the son of Nagri Kittanna Gowda from Alankaru village. Whilst riding his bike toward Kadaba, a pick up van belonging to Shree Durga Shamiana, Alankaru, which was returning to Alankaru, hit his vehicle at Annadka near Kuntoor. Dinesh, who fell onto the road with force, died on the spot.
Dinesh was unmarried. He was working as a mason. His aged father visits weekly markets where he undertakes sale of vegetables and banana bunches to make a living. The deceased is survived by parents and two sisters.
