Karkala, Feb 18: A respectful tribute was paid to the martyr soldiers of the Pulwama suicide bombing at the auditorium of the association by Nandalike - Abbanadka Sri Durgaparameshwari Friends Club (R).
Silence was maintained for some time seeking peace for the souls of the departed soldiers. Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep V Poojary, convener of the association, said, "The citizens of the country have to show sympathy to the families of the slain soldiers and also instill confidence in them."
Nandalike Rajesh Kotian, president of the club, Harish Poojary, vice-president, Raghuveer Shetty, former vice-president, Prashant Poojary, secretary, Anand Poojary, Crasabail Suresh Poojary, Abbanadka Hariprasad Acharya, treasurer, Manjunath Acharya Bola, president of bhajana samiti, Sandhya Shetty, women secretary and members of the association were present.
