Karkala, Feb 21: It has come to light with inordinate delay that the owner of a house at Joduraste Karalgudde within the town police station limits here was sexually harassing a five-year--old girl.
The victim of the man's sexual advances was the daughter of a couple who live in the rented accommodation owned by the accused.
The town police station have since arrested the accused, Santosh K, a local, into custody. He has been booked under the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
It is said that the small girl was going through a harrowing experience at the hands of this man since the last six weeks.
