Udupi: PUC examination - DC promulgates prohibitory orders

Udupi, Feb 22: Second PU annual examinations are scheduled to be held in the state from March 1 to 18. In order to manage law and order situation around the examination centres on the days of the examinations, deputy commissioner of the district, Hephsiba Rani Korlapati, has issued order, declaring an area of 200 metres of radius around the examination centres as prohibited area under section 144 (1) of Criminal Procedure Code.

The government PU college here, girls government PU college, MGM PU college, Poornaprajna PU college, Poornapaprajna PU college Admar, St Mary PU college Shirva, SMS PU college Brahmavar, Milagres PU college Kallianpur, National PU College Barkur, Viveka PU college Kota, SVS PU college Katapadi, government PU college Hiriadka, Vidyodaya PU college in the town, government PU college Koteshwar, government PU college Bidkalkatte, government PU college Kundapur, Bhandarkars PU college Kundapur, government PU college Navunda, government PU college Byndoor, government PU college Shiroor, government PU colege Hebri, government PU college Karkala, SVT PU college Karkala, Bhuvanendra PU college Karkala, R N Shetty PU college Kundapur, government PU college Vandse, and government PU college Bailoor, are the examination centres around which the prohibitory orders have been issued, a release said.
