Kundapur, Feb 24: BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje kick-started Maha Sampark Abhiyan of the party ahead of Lok sabha polls here on Sunday, February 24.

Addressing the gathering, Karandlaje said, "The workers and the leaders must work towards strengthening the party. The party flags must be hoisted in every house of the citizens. The party workers must convince every family and ensure to hoist party flag at least till elections are over. Also the party workers must stick stickers of the party on house doors. The pamphlets of the party's achievements must be delivered to the houses. The list of beneficiaries of different schemes of the central government must be shown to the electorate and convince them to vote for party."

"BJP will be holding programmes across the nation simultaneously. On February 26 evening, 'Kamala Jyothi' should be lit in every booth level and send a picture of it to the party office. On February 28, Narendra Modi will hold 'mann ki baat' through video. On March 2, bike rally will be held by Yuva morcha members across the nation," she said.

During the occasion, Gunaratna was declared as Mahila Morcha president.
