Mumbai: People Art Centre presents annual awards to special achievers

Mumbai, Feb 25: The People’s Art centre held its seventh annual programme at Hotel Emerald auditorium, Juhu on Sunday evening February 24.

Mumbai high court justice K R Sriram was chief guest. Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj achievers awards for 2019 were presented to Associated Chemical company director, BSKB Association’s Gopalakrishna Public trustee B R Rao, Model Cooperative Bank Limited and Aldel Education Trust executive president Albert Welfred D’Souza and national sportsman of Dharwad, Shivanooru Siddappa.

Awards were also presented to Suresh Kumar S, R M Warrior, R Sankaran, Dr P Shashikala, Rajarama Pothu, Dr K Mutchawel, Kailash V Anyal, Srinivasan Velayudhan and Sangeveni Ravindra.



Padmanabha Sasihitlu, BSKB Association president Dr suresh S Rao Kateel, Vijayalaxmi S Rao, Laxmi R Rao, Vivek R Rao, Niati Virav, Vikrant R Rao, Elvina A D’Souza, Aldrez A D’Souza, Reuben W Buthello, Alaina R Buthello, Shekar Sasihitlu, Vasanthi Shekar and other elite were present.

The programme began after the National Anthem. Afzal Bai presented a magic show. S Niharika gave an introduction, introduced the awardees and compered the programme. Gopukumar Pillai welcomed everyone and proposed the vote of thanks.
