Mysuru, March 8: There are suspicions of inclination towards BJP of Sumalatha Ambarish who has decided to contest as independent from Mandya in the Lok Sabha elections.
Sumalatha, who spoke of election campaign in Mysuru, said that she has confidence of the blessings of Mandya people. “Besides that Congress workers also are in favor of us and are likely to campaign in our favor, she said.
Asked about BJP support, she did not give a direct answer but said that she will tell her decision after discussions if BJP people approach her.
However she stressed that she will not contest from anywhere else other than in Mandya. She also said that she is not aspiring for any position.
