Mangaluru: Moodbidri, Kadaba taluk inaugural on Mar 8

Mangaluru, Mar 8: The official inauguration of the newly created Moodbidri and Kabada tlauks which had been postponed a number of times in the past, will be inaugurated on Friday March 8.

The inaugural function of Moodbidri taluk will be held at 3.30 pm on Friday at Padmavati Kalamandir. Revenue minister, R V Deshapande, will inaugurate the taluk and lay the foundation stone for the mini Vidhana Soudha being built at a cost of ten crore rupees. MLA, Umanath Kotian, will preside over the event.

Kadaba taluk inaugural is slated to be held on Friday evening in the premises of Kadaba tahsildar's office. After the inaugural at 6.30 pm, a meeting will be held at Anugraha auditorium Kadaba. Revenue minster, R V Deshpande, will inaugurate the new taluk. The function will be presided over by Sullia MLA, S Angara.

District in-charge minister, U T Khader, chairman of legislative council, K Prathapchandra Shetty, MLC, Kota Srinivas Poojary, Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat president, Meenakshi Shantigodu, MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs, Sanjeeva Matandoor,MLCs, Ivan D'Souza and B M Farooq and other leaders are expected to participate.
