Mangaluru: Pulse Polio Programme inaugurated at Lady Goschen hospital

Mangaluru, Mar 10: In order to sustain polio eradication drive from the country, the government launched the Pulse Polio Programme for 2019 on Saturday. As part of the same drive, the Pulse Polio programme in the city was inaugurated at Lady Goschen hospital in the city on Sunday, March 10.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, district in-charge minister U T Khader, deputy commissioner Sasikanth Senthil and the medical officers of Lady Goschen hospital were present on the occasion.

More than 17 crore children of less than five years across the country will be given polio drops as part of the drive.
