Mangaluru: Automobile Dealers’ Association donates to Pulwama Martyrs Family Welfare

Mangaluru, Apr 4: Dakshina Kannada Automobile & Tyre Dealers’ Association contributed a sum of Rs 50,000 for the welfare of the families of CRPF Jawans who were killed in the terror attack in Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir on February 14.

Association treasurer Maroor Shashidhar Pai handed over a cheque for the amount to secretary K Vilas Kumar on April 3, for onward dispatch to the CRPF Headquarters at New Delhi. Association president Kasturi Prabhakar Pai, patron K G Shenoy, vice president Harsha Kumar and K Laxminarayan Nayak, chairman of the association’s sub-committee for community service were present on the occasion.

The amount is the sum of voluntary donations made by the individual members added with matching contribution from the association’s general funds.
