Kundapur, Apr 6: “It is shameful that state government is portraying Ayushman programme as their own, hiding the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Shobha Karandlaje.

Speaking in the meeting of party activists in Koteshwar here, she said that Modi has implemented several schemes such as health fund worth Rs five lac per family, Kisan Samman scheme, free gas scheme and several other schemes but Congress is asking what BJP has done. “People should answer them in the elections and bring Modi led government back to power again,” she said.

Vidhan Parishad member Kota Srinivas Poojary said that Shobha stood by for the victims after the murder of Paresh Mesatha and Rudresh. “She has fought for victims of problems in the state. Therefore, electing her again is our responsibility.”

MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty said that the talk that Shobha did not visit the constituency is not true. “MLA, zilla panchayat, taluk panchayat and gram panchayat members would bring to her notice the issues. Former chief minister Yeddyurappa implemented Bhagyalaxmi scheme for girls and former Prime Minister Vajpayee education schemes.”

BJP leaders were present. More than 15 activists from Kodi ward joined BJP. Shanker Ankadakatte welcomed and compered the programme. Kundapur vidhan sabha block president Kadoor Suresh Shetty gave an introductory address. Bhasker Billava rendered the vote of thanks.
