Mangaluru, Apr 6: Dinesh Rama Devadiga (40), a resident of Land Links Township at Derebaill Konchady in the city, ended his life on Friday, April 5. He hanged himself from a ceiling fan at his residence. This tragic incident happened between 11.30 am and 1.30 pm.
Devadiga used to execute interior decoration works on contract basis. It is said that he had accepted to do interior decoration works for a house and had also received advance amount. However, he had not attended to the interior decoration work. It is said that the main contractor, who was angry at Devadiga's failure to attend to the above work, had given him a dressing down. It is said that having been hurt and dismayed by this development, Devadiga ended his life.
The deceased is survived by wife and a child. A case of unnatural death in this connection was registered in Kavoor police station.
