Madikeri, Apr 6: Two youngsters riding on a motor bike were killed on the evening of Friday April 5 after their vehicle collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction. The deceased have been identified as Satish and Shivappa from Nagapura village, Hunsur, Mysuru district.
The lorry was moving towards Kushalnagar from Madikeri. The motor bike was being driven on the opposite direction.
Satish died on the spot. Pillion rider, Shivappa, lost his life on way to a hospital at Mysuru, the police said. A case about this incident was registered in Kushalnagar traffic police station.
