Vijayapura: Three young men venture into River Bhima, meet watery grave

Vijayapura, Apr 7: Three youngsters who together visited River Bhima were washed away. The incident happened near Maragoor village in Chadachana taluk in the district.

The young men wanted to have a bath on the occasion of Ugadi festival, it is said. One of the victims was from Anjutagi village, while two others were from Audh village in Maharashtra, it is said. More details are yet to be received.

The incident happened within the limits of Jhalaki police station. Search operation has been launched with help of locals for the victims.
