Mangaluru, Apr 7: Tulunada Rakshana Vedike founder president Yogesh Shetty Jeppu along with president of the ‘Taulava Ucchaya’ event Dr David Frank Fernandes handed over ‘Taulava Ucchaya’ best actress award to Coastalwood actress Chirashree Anchan for her film ‘Karne’ at Tulunada Rakshna Vedike office at Statebank on Sunday, April 7.

Due to busy schedule Chirashree Anchan could not attend the Taulava Ucchaya Tulu film award function which was held on March 29 to 31 at Townhall.

Chirashree Anchan was the winner for the best actress by votes of the public and conferred Taulava Ucchaya best actress award.

Chirashree Anchan made her debut with the film Pavithra, later seen in Rambarooti. Chirashree Anchan made her Kannad debut with Huliraaya, Telugu debut with Aame Athadaithe Tamil debut with recently released Aghavan.

Chirashree will also be seen in Kannada movie Udumba, Shivanapaada, Tamil movie Malaithen and Telugu movie Duppatlo Minnagu.

Chirashree Anchan' mother Poornima Madhu, brother Chiranjeevi Anchan, Tulu Rakshna Vedike's Supreeth Poojary, Ranjith Kudla and Ashish Anchan were present.
