Bengaluru, Apr 7: Multi-lingual cine actor, Prakash Raj, who has been fighting the current Lok Sabha election as an independent candidate from the city (central) Lok Sabha constituency, is giving sleepless nights to Congress leaders.

There was a notion among the Congress leaders that there will a neck-to-neck fight between the Congress and BJP candidates in this constituency, and whoever wins will have a lead of only a few thousand votes. The Congress had not taken presence of Prakash Raj in the fray seriously. However, the fact that Prakash Raj has taken his plunge into politics seriously and has been actively canvassing for his election, has robbed the Congress leaders of their mental peace, it is learnt.

As per the Congress leadership's calculation's, if Prakash get over 30,000 votes, it will be to the detriment of the party's interests. Therefore it has decided to woo the voters against voting for Prakash Raj. It is said that during canvassing for votes for it, Congress has been telling the voters that casting votes for Prakash Raj will indirectly help the BJP. Similar notion is also being publicised through the social media, it is learnt.
