Bantwal: Youngster's mortal remains found on railway tracks at Golthamajalu

Bantwal, Apr 8: The lifeless body of a young man was found on the railway tracks at Golthamajalu in the taluk on Monday April 8. The deceased has been identified as Purandar (28) from Veerakamba village.

Purandar had left home to attend the fair at Veerakamba. He had not returned home thereafter. It is thought that on Sunday night, he would have approached the railway tracks and committed suicide.

As of now, no reasons could be attributed to the young man's decision to end his life. It is said that in the past too, he had unsuccessfully tried to kill himself twice. The police visited these spot and undertook investigation.
