Chamarajanagar: Car hits bus while overtaking, medical student dies, her companion injured

Chamarajanagar, April 8: A car driven from Mysuru has lost control while trying to overtake a government bus in front of the car here and has hit the bus from behind instead. A female medical student has died and her male companion is critically injured in the incident.

The deceased was Sreegda(21) a resident of Erbakulam, Kerala. Her companion, Mangaluru based Fayaz Abdulla is critically injured.

Both of them in the car were students of Chamarajanagar medical college. The car was speeding reportedly from Mysuru to Chamarajanagar on Saturday evening.

Fayaz Abdulla is admitted to Chamarajanagar district hospital. Chamarajanagar traffic police have registered a case and have taken further action.
