Udupi, Apr 9: “Nodal officials will be appointed to oversee supply of meals and snacks to election officials in election booths in Lok Sabha elections here on April 18,” said deputy commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati.
Presiding over the meeting in DC office auditorium on Monday, April 8 she said education department CRP and BRP officials will be appointed to provide quality food.
“Staff will be provided drinking water cans and first aid kits during mustering,” she said and further asked the taluk executive officials to review arrangements at voting booths regarding water and electricity two days prior to elections.
Zilla panchayat CEO Sindhu B Roopesh, additional DC Vidyakumari, education department deputy director Shesha Shayana and others were present.
