Bantwal, Apr 9: Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha BJP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel visited on Monday the residence of RSS activist Sharath Madiwal who was murdered in BC Road a year ago. Nalin Kumar received the blessings of Sharath’s parents and enquired their welfare.
Bantwal MLA U Rajesh Naik Ulipadi, district vice president Ravi Shanker Mijar, G Ananda, district spokesperson Harikrishna Bantwal, Jitendra Kothary and other BJP leaders were present.
He later went to the residence of party activist at Sajipamooda, held discussions and campaigned in the vicinity. Few Congress activists including former taluk panchayat member joined BJP. He later visited Kadeshwalya temple and cashew factory and campaigned for votes.
He also visited Beedi factory of Pachinadka Sesappa Kotian, Badagabellur and Ammunje and campaigned.
