Mangaluru: Cake making workshop, women in business organised on Jayceerette week

Mangaluru, Apr 9: Workshop on cake preparation demonstration and talk on women in business was organised on the occasion of the Jayceerette week celebration in collaboration with the Jayceerette of JCI Surathkal and Mahila Mandal Kulai (R).

In his addressal after inaugurating the programme JCI Zone 15, empowering youth coordinator JCI senator Soujanya Hegde runs her own business which makes her financially self-sufficient today. In addition, JCI Suratkal appreciated the programme for its organization.



Meenakshi Devdas, president of the Mahila Mandali was guest for the programme. The introduction speech was done by JCI Surathkal president Lokesh Rai K. Jayceerette coordinator Bharati Niranjan, programme director Babita Shetty, JCI and Mahila Mandala members were present on the occasion.

Harina Rao, women's wing president of the district small industries association, enlightened the gathering and trained women in business and opportunities in businesses.

Neena Shetty, another resource person, provided information and presentation of cakes and artificial jewellery.

Anita S Shetty presided over the function and secretary Prathima S Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
