Udupi: Additional EVMs and VVPATs handed over to constituencies

Udupi, Apr 9: Additional EVMs and VVPATs required for the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha elections were distributed to respective constituencies in the presence of deputy commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati on Tuesday, April 9.

Additional 25 ballot units, 8 control units and 5 VVPATs were handed over to Kundapur constituency, and additional 30 ballot units, 12 control units, and 12 VVPATs were handed over to Udupi constituency.

Additional 26 ballot units, 9 control units and 12 VVPATs were handed over to Kaup constituency. Additional 26 ballot units, 9 control units and 5 VVPATs were handed over to Karkala constituency.



  

Deputy commissioner Hephsiba urged to clearly test the EVMs and VVPATs before handing over to the respective constituencies.

Additional deputy commissioner Vidya Kumari was also present.
