EC bans release of PM Modi biopic ahead of Lok Sabha polls

Daijiworld Media Network – New Delhi (AM)

New Delhi, Apr 10: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has stopped the release of biopic 'PM Narendra Modi' ahead of the first phase of 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The film was supposed to be released on April 11.

The release of the film was earlier delayed on grounds of pending certification clearance. The film was supposed to be released on April 11.

"Any biopic material in nature of biography sub-serving the purpose of any political entity or any individual entity connected to it, which has potential to disturb level playing field during the election, should not be displayed in electronic media, including cinematograph," the ECI said in a statement.

Time will come one day all the independent agencies and the officials might
turn the page in the history of our independence, how Modi pocketed or threatened them
on the other hand, misused his authority. (RBI, CBI, SC, EC, ED, EVM's Demonetization, Swiss Bank -black money, Senior party members, Cow vigilant etc.)

There will come a time, when a sitting PM shouldn't/will not be allowed to contest at government expense. Let his/her performance of 5 years be spread by the party and not the national leader. Pm is not elected to work for the party but for the nation. EC should come up with restriction and SC is more likely to uphold it.

At last EC came to know that the film is financed by bjp only to mislead the people. Film shows incredible achievements by Chowkidar whereas not 1 percent of them is done. Producr of the film is paid millions of rupees by bjp. I salute EC for its fair decision in banning release of this hate film before election. I will appreciate if the film will be banned even after election. The film is totally bogus plus wrong and gives incorrect information.

Finally, some credibility of the EC restored. Over the past few weeks every citizen who believed in the constitution, rule of law, integrity of our institutions and democracy was getting frustrated at the blatant violations and misuse of power by the government and the behaviour of the EC as a silent spectator. At least today the EC has flexed its muscles and put a stop to this mockery and arrogance.

Mangalore is the city, which has the best brains in the country but for jobs? Our youth leave to Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad or other cities. We have great educational institutions but after completing the education our youth have to leave Mangalore. Isn’t this sad? Look at the other cities like Pune which has got developed, which has become a hub for so many IT and other companies but Mangalore still remains the same despite being second the major city of Karnataka in all aspects after the capital city Bangalore. It is the only city in Karnataka to have all modes of transport — Air, Road, Rail and Sea along with only 5 other major cities in India but why our city doesn’t create jobs? Why the companies don’t operate from Mangalore and don’t dare to invest? The first answer is the threat from moral policing & fear of communal forces. We have witnessed communal violence and moral policing repeatedly in the past years supported by some political parties in a bid to gain power or votes.

Think Mangaloreans.....Do you want our city to develop? Investors to come in? Jobs to be created? Mangalore needs to be converted into a broad minded and peoples faith in freedom to be restored. Everyone from here and who comes from our has to feel safe. Communal forces to be defeated, silenced and for this we need a able, dynamic & capable leader from a party which is secular & which stands for personal freedom.

Time has come to change our city, change our people and change our MP.

We are the smartest in the country, Well educated people, No 1 for best in country for quality of life, 12th in global list for healthcare and a lot to go on saying about us, don't we deserve better ? So this time vote for Mitun Rai also ask your friends & known people to vote for Mitun Rai - Mangalore's hope. together we can bring a change, the change for every Mangalorean is must.

Please read, share maximum and spread, let people don't waste their votes this time.

Benglurda Ajjere, If Congress has not done anything in 60 years, you would not have been able to comment in this Daiji Electronic Media using your computer sitting either at home or office. In place of Congress, if BJP had ruled the country for 60 years, you still would have writing a letter and posted it to Daiji News paper to publish. Just imagine how badly they have performed in 5 years if they have to release a movie, start a channel(NaMo TV), launch a web series, sell t-shirts, put his name on tea cups and what not, just for votes.
Ajjere, atleast have some gratefulness to acknowledge what has been done by all the previous governments (irrespect of any political party) for the development of the country. Now whole India is fed up of hearing this dialogue, what congress has done in 60 years.
