Kundapur, Apr 11: “JD(S)-Congress coalition candidate Pramod Madhwaraj has done sufficient work by being minister of fisheries in the past. Therefore, help in the development of the constituency and fisheries by making him MP,” requested minister of fisheries and animal husbandry, Venkatrao Nadagouda.

Speaking in the meeting of activists in Kota block congress office on Wednesday, he said that Congress and JDS have faced every election on the agenda of development. “But BJP government has done no development worth saying. Therefore, BJP is making sentimental subjects of soldiers and country as the agenda and facing elections.”



KPCC secretary M A Gafoor and former MLA U R Sabhapathi requested for votes on behalf of Congress. Block Congress president Shanker Kunder presided over the meeting.

District Congress chief secretary Kishan Hegde Kolkebail, block election in charge Keshava Kotian, JD(S) district president Yogish Shetty, JDS Kundapur block president Prakash Shetty Thekkatte, Mahila Morcha’s Jayashree and others were present.

Congress leaders Srinivas Ameen and Ganesh Nellibettu compered the programme.
