Mangaluru, Apr 11: A gang beat up a youth and left him seriously injured on silly pretext. The incident happened on Wednesday April 10 at Adyar Padavu on the issue of video recording, it is learnt.
There was standing dispute between the two sides on this issue, and it is gathered that the personnel of the rural police station here had held talks with both the sides in the past and settled the issue amicably.
However, surprisingly, on the same issue, the youth came under attack by the gang. It is said that a gang of which Ashraf, Asgar, Issac and Zubair are members, was behind the current attack. The victim, identified as Mayyaddi from Adyar Padavu, stands admitted in a private hospital here for treatment.
A case about the incident was registered in the rural police station here.
