Kaup, Apr 11: Founder of 'Team Modi', Chakravarthy Sulibele, said that JD(S), which does not have a candidate for being fielded in Udupi - Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency, has now fielded a candidate who it has borrowed from another party. "This situation mirrors the actual condition this party is in," he taunted.

He was delivering a special lecture on 'Modi for the country, we for Modi' organised near Shirva bus stand on Wednesday April 10.

"Over 90 percent of the people in the country do not know which caste Modi belongs to. They know that he is an Indian. Those who used to reap benefits by dividing castes and religions by way of votes are facing huge losses because of Modi's corruption-free governance. I urge all of you to overlook caste and position of a person. I ask you to vote for Modi on the basis of achievements alone. Otherwise, the country will feel remorseful for the next five decades," he stressed.

Sulibele said that because of demonetisation measure of Modi, Rs 15 lac crore flowed into the banking system. "He made sure that huge foreign funds flowed into the country, as a result of which India emerged as the largest recipient of inflow of foreign funds behind China. As far as GDP is concerned, the country is moving toward the third spot. Lacs of people got free cooking gas. Highway construction has gained lot of momentum," he praised.

Shirva Team Modi convener, Sadananda S, BJP leaders, Suresh Shetty Gurme, Prakash Shetty Padebettu, Kutyar Naveen Shetty, Giridhar Prabhu, Kollabettu Raveendra Shetty and many others were present.
